How to prepare for Bucknell
- Bucknell alumni interviewers often focus on fit , be prepared to explain specifically why Bucknell over similar liberal arts-engineering schools like Lafayette or Lehigh.
- The interview is conversational and informational; come with genuine questions about student life, the College of Engineering or Arts & Sciences programs, or career outcomes.
- Not all applicants receive an interview invitation, so don't let a missing interview hurt your confidence , it typically reflects alumni availability, not your standing.
- If you do interview, follow up with a thank-you note to the alumni interviewer; Bucknell's community culture values personal connection.
