Creighton / Interview
The Creighton interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews offered; admissions decisions are based on academic record, test scores (optional), and the supplemental essay.
How to prepare for Creighton
- Creighton's single supplemental essay is a 'Why Creighton' prompt , be specific about the Jesuit mission, particular programs, or service-learning opportunities that genuinely fit your goals.
- Campus visits and information sessions are not interviews but do signal interest; contact the admissions office or attend a Bluejay for a Day event to demonstrate engagement.
- With an ~80% acceptance rate, the application is holistic but not hyper-competitive , focus energy on your GPA trend and the personal statement rather than seeking interview opportunities that don't exist.
- If you have a specific program interest (e.g., Heider College of Business, pre-med, law), reach out directly to that department or attend a college-specific event to build a genuine connection.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
