ESADE / Interview
The ESADE interview
Interview required, and it carries significant weight in the decision. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
Interview required
Required admissions interview, ~30 min, in person at the Barcelona campus or by video
How to prepare for ESADE
- ESADE places heavy weight on motivation and fit , be specific about why you want a business education in Barcelona and what draws you to ESADE's global, humanistic approach rather than giving a generic answer.
- Expect competency-style questions about leadership, teamwork, and ethical dilemmas; ESADE's Jesuit heritage means values and social responsibility often come up, so have a genuine example ready.
- The interview is part of a holistic round review, so earlier rounds (November-January) allow more time for the panel to support your candidacy and scholarship eligibility , schedule promptly after submitting.
- If interviewing remotely, ensure a quiet, professional setup; ESADE is internationally oriented but the panel notices polish and preparation, especially from applicants who haven't visited campus.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
