Georgia Tech / Interview
The Georgia Tech interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews for domestic applicants. Non-native English speaking international applicants may optionally submit a third-party interview via InitialView or Vericant, ~30 min, conducted online.
How to prepare for Georgia Tech
- Georgia Tech does not offer alumni or admissions office interviews for domestic applicants , focus energy on the single required supplement (300 words on why your major and why Georgia Tech specifically).
- Demonstrate interest through Georgia Tech's virtual info sessions, campus visits, or direct engagement with the admissions office, since demonstrated interest can be noted even without an interview.
- International applicants who are non-native English speakers should strongly consider submitting an InitialView or Vericant interview before their application plan's document deadline , it provides an extra data point to demonstrate English fluency and communication skills.
- For international applicants using third-party interviews, treat the session as a natural conversation about your academic background and goals rather than a formal admissions interview , these platforms are explicitly described as unscripted.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
