How to prepare for Indiana
- Focus on the single required supplemental essay (200-400 words) , it is the primary personal voice in your application, so make it specific to why IU Bloomington fits your goals.
- Apply by the November 1 Early Action deadline to maximize scholarship consideration; EA is non-binding so there is no downside to applying early.
- Demonstrate interest through campus visits or virtual info sessions, since IU does track demonstrated interest and there is no interview to substitute for it.
- Scholarship applications often require separate materials , check IU's scholarship portal promptly after submitting your admissions application.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
