KCL / Interview
The KCL interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews for most undergraduate courses. Medicine and Dentistry applicants face structured interviews (e.g. MMI or panel) as part of a separate healthcare admissions process.
How to prepare for KCL
- KCL admissions decisions for most courses rest entirely on your UCAS personal statement, predicted grades, and any required admissions tests , invest the bulk of your preparation there.
- The personal statement now uses three structured UCAS questions rather than a free-form essay; answer each question directly and specifically, referencing KCL's course content where relevant.
- If applying to Medicine, Dentistry, or a health profession, the interview is a significant hurdle , prepare for Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) style stations and review KCL's published selection criteria for your programme.
- Demonstrate genuine interest through open days, subject-specific online events, or virtual campus tours, as there is no interview to make a personal impression.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
