Lehigh / Interview
The Lehigh interview
Optional interview, and it carries moderate weight in the decision. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
Optional interview
Optional evaluative interview, ~30 min, on campus (junior spring through senior December), virtual over summer, or with a regional rep near your area; conducted by admissions counselors or student Admissions Ambassadors
How to prepare for Lehigh
- All Lehigh interviews are evaluative , the report becomes part of your application file, so treat it seriously even though it is not required.
- You can only interview with Lehigh once, so schedule it when you are well-prepared and have a clear sense of why Lehigh specifically fits your goals.
- On-campus interviews open in March of junior year, which is earlier than most schools , rising juniors serious about Lehigh should plan ahead rather than scrambling senior fall.
- Use the conversation to show genuine fit: Lehigh values its engineering-business nexus, close faculty relationships, and collaborative culture, so frame your interests around those strengths rather than giving generic answers.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
