Marquette / Interview
The Marquette interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews offered for undergraduate admissions; application reviewed holistically on academics, essay, and recommendations.
How to prepare for Marquette
- Demonstrate fit with Marquette's Jesuit mission in your Common App personal statement , values like service, social justice, and cura personalis resonate strongly with their readers.
- Visit campus or attend a virtual info session and note it in your application; demonstrated interest can carry weight at schools without interviews.
- If applying to a health-sciences program (nursing, pre-dental, etc.), check for any program-specific short prompts that are separate from the main application.
- Letters of recommendation matter more here than at schools with interviews , choose recommenders who can speak to your character and service involvement, not just grades.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
