The Seton Hall interview

Optional interview

How to prepare for Seton Hall
- Seton Hall interviews are low-stakes and informational for most applicants , treat it as a chance to demonstrate genuine interest in the university's Catholic Spiritan mission and specific programs, not just a resume review.
- If you are on the waitlist and invited to interview, treat it seriously , completing the interview is strongly recommended and can meaningfully strengthen your position.
- Use the interview to ask specific questions about programs, campus life, or opportunities that show you have done your homework on SHU beyond the rankings.
- You can proactively request an interview through your assigned admissions counselor via the Find a Counselor page , doing so signals demonstrated interest, which Seton Hall weighs in its holistic review.
