The TCU interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews offered; TCU does not conduct admissions interviews for undergraduate applicants.
How to prepare for TCU
- Visit campus or attend a TCU virtual info session before applying , demonstrated interest is noticed at a school this size, and on-campus visit records are tracked.
- Use your single required essay (300-500 words, choose 1 of 4 prompts) to show a specific side of your personality; with no interview, this is your only direct voice in the application.
- If you are a strong fit, applying Early Decision I by November 1 signals commitment and can improve your odds meaningfully at TCU, compensating for the absence of any interview channel.
- Connect with your regional TCU admissions counselor by email or at college fairs , these contacts are aware of who reaches out and can advocate for borderline applicants.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
