Texas A&M / Interview
The Texas A&M interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews offered; Texas A&M does not conduct admissions interviews for undergraduate applicants.
How to prepare for Texas A&M
- Texas A&M places significant weight on its three required essays (Topic A plus two short answers) , treat these as your primary voice in the application and give each one genuine attention.
- Demonstrated interest matters: campus visits, Aggie Preview events, or attending local info sessions can signal genuine commitment to the Aggie community.
- Leadership, community involvement, and service are core Aggie values; make sure your activities list and essays reflect these if they apply to you.
- If you are aiming for a competitive major (engineering, business), address your academic preparation and specific interest in that program directly in your essays.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
