TU Delft / Interview
The TU Delft interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews offered. Admission is based on diploma equivalency, entry requirements (maths, physics, English), and for numerus fixus programs, a structured selection procedure including written assignments and aptitude/subject exams.
How to prepare for TU Delft
- For numerus fixus programs (Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design Engineering, Clinical Technology, Nanobiology), the written self-reflection and motivation assignments carry real weight , treat them with the same care you would a personal statement.
- Complete the matching phase activities and selection exams on time; the January 15 Studielink registration deadline is firm and missing it closes the door entirely for that cycle.
- Demonstrate academic preparation concretely: TU Delft cares about your actual maths and physics background, so strong grades in those subjects speak louder than extracurriculars or personal branding.
- If you are an international applicant, confirm your diploma is recognized as equivalent to Dutch VWO early , this is the single biggest admission hurdle and takes time to resolve through Nuffic or Studielink.
