UGA / Interview
The UGA interview
No admissions interview. Here is how it works and how to prepare.
No admissions interview
No interviews offered. UGA does not conduct admissions interviews for undergraduate applicants.
How to prepare for UGA
- Demonstrate interest through campus visits, attending information sessions, or reaching out to admissions counselors , UGA tracks demonstrated interest.
- Put strong effort into the required supplemental essay (200-300 words); it is your only direct voice in the application beyond grades and test scores.
- UGA's admissions is holistic but heavily grades- and rigor-driven (~75% of academic read), so course selection and GPA context matter more than any soft factor.
- Apply Early Action by October 15 , UGA's EA pool is highly competitive and a significant share of the class is filled from it.
Practice before the real thing
Rehearse real admissions-interview questions and get an honest read on your answers, what an interviewer hears, where you sound generic, and what to sharpen. We coach you; we never script you.
